Sandra E. Mae was born on 15 April 1989 in Linz, Austria. Soon, she discovered her passion for music, writing and acting. During high school, she gained formative stage experience. After studying dramatic arts in Linz and her final exam at Wiener Kammerspiele, she worked as an actress for various independent theatre institutions in Linz and Vienna and as a radio presenter.
Since 2015, she's been a freelance singer, actress and voice-over-artist for TV and radio and has also been working as a wedding and event speaker for MaeBee Weddings. From 2014 to 2017 she completed an in-service training to become a certified voice-over-artist and speaker.
As the musical and administrative director of the musical*theatre company team:semestro, she is constantly on stage in various productions of her own all over Austria (f.E. Theater Akzent in Vienna, Kulturpark Traun in Upper Austria or Kulturhaus Liezen, Styria). Not only is she responsible for the whole organisation and marketing, but also writes music, texts and concepts.
Since 2021 she has been known under her new songwriter pseudonym Maecoon. Her music (Indie, Synth Pop, Alternative Country) is distributed by Sony Music Austria. Additionally, she is represented as a published author at the literary platform story.one. Her stories have been read 14.000 times so far - numbers counting.
